This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, create an account, browse listings, contact a property manager, submit an inquiry, or use another platform feature.

In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Masitech Accommodation. “You” refers to a visitor, student, tenant, property manager, administrator, or other person using the platform.

Property information

Property managers and administrators may submit property details, room information, availability, prices, conditions, photos, amenities, and location information. Some of this information is intended to be publicly displayed on the platform.

  • Connect prospective tenants with relevant property managers.
  • Process inquiries, applications, and support requests.

4. When information may be shared

We may share information when necessary to operate the platform, including with:

  • Authorized property managers handling properties in their assigned locations.
  • Masitech Solutions administrators.
  • Service providers that support authentication, hosting, storage, analytics, or communications.
  • Professional advisers or authorities where required by law.

We do not intend to sell personal information. Public reviews, display names, and property-related information may be visible to other platform users depending on the feature and the choices made by administrators.

Users should avoid posting sensitive personal information in public reviews, property descriptions, or inquiry messages.

5. Firebase and Cloudinary

We use Firebase services for parts of the platform, including authentication, database functionality, hosting, and analytics where enabled.

Firebase Authentication may process information such as email addresses, phone numbers, user-agent information, and IP addresses to support authentication, account management, security, and abuse prevention. Firebase states that the application owner generally acts as the data controller or business, while Google generally acts as a processor or service provider for customer-provided end-user data.

We may use Cloudinary to store and deliver property images. Property photos uploaded to the platform may be processed through Cloudinary and displayed using Cloudinary delivery URLs.

More information about Firebase privacy practices is available on Google’s Firebase Privacy and Security page .

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the platform, manage accounts, handle inquiries, maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information, its purpose, account status, and applicable legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we will seek to delete it, anonymize it, or securely dispose of it where appropriate.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion where legally permitted.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
  • Request a copy of certain information in a usable format.
  • Complain to an applicable data-protection authority.

Some requests may be subject to legal exceptions or identity verification requirements. To exercise a right, contact us using the details in the Contact section.

8. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your password, using a strong password, and notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Access to platform records should be controlled through Firebase Authentication and Firebase Security Rules. Internal role and location permissions should also be enforced on the server and database, not only through hidden buttons or frontend page restrictions.

9. Cookies and analytics

The platform may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies to support authentication, remember preferences, improve security, and understand website usage.

Google Analytics may be enabled to provide aggregated information about website visits and feature usage. The exact analytics configuration and any consent requirements should be confirmed before the website goes live.

You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain technologies may affect some platform functions.

10. Children’s privacy

The platform is intended for people who are legally able to use accommodation and related services in their location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where doing so would violate applicable law.

If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, legal obligations, or data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.

Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek consent for material changes.
